Nespresso Advent Calendar
£40.00
The Nespresso x Swarovski Advent Calendar 2026 packs 26 capsules into its first Swarovski collaboration: 18 roast and ground, 5 flavoured, 2 decaf and 1 flavoured decaf, with a few days doubling up to share a cup. The pieces that stand out are the Crystal Spark exclusive espresso and the 400ml Nespresso x Swarovski travel mug hidden behind the last door, an accessory you can’t buy on its own. There’s no machine in the box, so it’s one for coffee lovers who already run a Nespresso or Vertuo machine, not a gift for a first-timer.
Nespresso x Swarovski Advent Calendar 2026: 26 coffees and a collector’s travel mug
The Nespresso x Swarovski Advent Calendar 2026 swaps the usual single-pod-a-day routine for something closer to a gift box. Behind the doors sit 26 coffee capsules, with a few days doubling up so you can pour a second cup for someone else, and behind the final door a limited-edition 400ml travel mug from the Swarovski collaboration. It’s the brand’s first tie-up with Swarovski, and the pink (Original) and green (Vertuo) boxes make that obvious before you’ve opened a thing.
Three of the coffees are made only for this collection: a Crystal Spark espresso, a Hazelnut Brownie and a Blueberry Cheesecake. Coffee drinkers who already own a Nespresso or Vertuo machine are the obvious audience here, and that caveat matters: with no machine, this is a box of pods you can’t use.
What’s inside the Nespresso x Swarovski calendar and what it’s worth
The Original box holds 26 capsules: 18 roast and ground, 5 flavoured, 2 decaf and 1 flavoured decaf. The Vertuo box carries the same 26-capsule count. The headline pieces are the three calendar exclusives, with the Crystal Spark espresso (a double espresso on Vertuo) leading the festive line-up. The gift behind the last door is the real draw: a double-walled stainless steel travel mug in a Swarovski collector’s edition, made only for this calendar and not sold separately.

Nespresso doesn’t publish a value for the box, so here’s my own working for the Original. A Nespresso Original capsule sits roughly between 40p and 80p in the UK (the 50-pod Mixed Pack lands near 50p a cup), and the flavoured and exclusive pods push toward the top of that band. Put the 26 capsules at a careful £13 to £17. The Swarovski travel mug isn’t sold on its own; the closest comparable Nespresso travel mug retails at £29, so I’d value this exclusive version prudently at £20 to £29.
That totals somewhere around £33 to £46 against the £40 ticket. In other words, the coffee alone doesn’t cover the price: divide the launch price by the 26 capsules and each pod works out at about £1.54, well above what you’d pay buying sleeves. The Swarovski mug and the three exclusives carry the value here, and if capsule value for money is your only test a plain pod multipack beats it.
From artistic edition to Swarovski: what’s changed this year
The pitch has moved from the wall to the shelf. The 2025 calendar was an artistic collaboration with photographer Thandiwe Muriu, whose colourful portraits turned the box into something close to a print you’d keep, wrapped around roughly 24 capsules plus a surprise. Last year the box was the showpiece and the coffee the quiet payload.
For 2026 the structure barely budges, a capsule or two a day with a gift at the end, but the argument is now the object. A Swarovski collector’s travel mug replaces the art-book treatment, and the whole festive range (there’s a bejewelled machine alongside it) leans premium and collectable. If you liked last year for the look on the box, this year asks you to like it for the thing inside it.
My verdict on the Nespresso x Swarovski Advent Calendar 2026
Twenty-six capsules and a Swarovski mug, and the honest read is that this is bought as a festive object, not a coffee bargain. The three exclusives are a genuine reason to look: a Crystal Spark espresso, a Hazelnut Brownie and a Blueberry Cheesecake you won’t find in the standard range, and the shared-cup days suit a household that brews together.
What holds it back is the sum, not the box. At roughly £1.54 a pod the coffee doesn’t justify £40 on its own, and the whole thing only makes sense if you already run a Nespresso or Vertuo machine, which rules out a chunk of would-be gift buyers. As I’d put it: ‘the mug and the exclusives are what you’re really buying, and the capsules fill the days around them’.
- Not for you if you don’t own a compatible machine, or you’re judging it purely on capsule value against a pod multipack.
- Worth it if you want a limited-edition Swarovski travel mug, the three exclusive coffees, and a countdown that lets you share a cup.

The Nespresso spirit, coffee measured cup by cup
Nespresso built its name on the portioned capsule: a single pre-dosed pod per cup, sorted by intensity and origin so the same machine pulls a light morning lungo or a dark after-dinner espresso with no grinding and no mess. That system is the logic of this calendar, one capsule opens one door, and the festive range simply dials the whole thing up a notch, with three coffees made only for this collection and packaging that aims for the keepsake shelf. You can browse the full range on Nespresso.
The Swarovski partnership is where that premium turn becomes the point. Nespresso has paired with photographers and designers before, but this is its first tie-up with Swarovski, and a collector’s travel mug behind the last door turns a box of pods into something that reads as a gift. The format stays true to the brand, a capsule a day plus a keepsake at the end, while the object it builds toward is deliberately more jewel than mug.
