Red Bull Advent Calendar 2026: 24 full-size cans, 15 flavours
The Red Bull Advent Calendar 2026 puts 24 full-size 250ml cans behind 24 tear-off doors, one for every morning from 1 to 24 December. There is no chocolate, no miniature, no accessory here: it is a proper energy drink advent calendar, and every can is ready to drink. Where a chocolate calendar hands you a 5g square, this one hands you a full serving each day.
What sets the 2026 box apart is the spread. Across the 24 cans sit 15 distinct variants, so nine days repeat a flavour you have already met. Three are the classics you know, two are Winter Editions, and ten are the fruit editions Red Bull rotates each year. The stand-out change is the Glacier Edition, new for 2026.
What is inside the Red Bull advent calendar?
Twenty-four cans, and nothing else. The 15 variants break down as 3 classics (Original, Zero, Sugarfree), 2 Winter Editions (one full-sugar, one sugarfree), and 10 fruit editions running from the Blue Edition (blueberry) to the new Glacier Edition. Signature cans like the Original sit next to the more unusual White Edition (coconut and açaí) and Green Edition (curuba and elderflower).
Every can is recyclable aluminium, full size at 250ml, so there are no tasting miniatures to feel short-changed by. This is a caffeinated drink: 32mg of caffeine per 100ml, which is 80mg a can, so it is for adults only, and not for children, or anyone pregnant or breastfeeding.
The full day-by-day list of all 15 variants sits in the Calendar Contains tab.
The 2026 line-up against last year’s box
Last year’s calendar ran to 16 flavours, built around watermelon (the Red Edition), a cactus edition, grapefruit, apricot and strawberry, blueberry and a tropical Yellow Edition. For 2026 the count drops to 15 distinct references, and the mix shifts more than it shrinks.
In come the Glacier Edition as the headline new can, with Peach, Pink and Lilac editions pushed to the front of the range. Out go the cactus edition and the tropical Yellow Edition, neither of which we recorded in the 2026 list. The logic is the same as ever: cram as many editions as possible into one box, so the calendar doubles as a tour of the current range, a long way from a chocolate countdown.
My view on the Red Bull Advent Calendar 2026
What works is the format. Twenty-four full-size cans, a genuinely different flavour most mornings, and the fun of comparing the White Edition against the Glacier as December goes on. For someone who already drinks Red Bull, opening a door beats reaching into a multipack, and the 15 variants give real range, well past the same can dressed up.
Where it falls down is the value. A single 250ml can sells on the UK market for roughly £1.35 to £1.65, so 24 cans amount to about £33 to £40 of drink. Spread the roughly £70 launch price across the 24 cans and each one lands near £2.90, well above shop price. As I put it, ‘you’re paying for the box and the daily ritual, not for a hidden discount on Red Bull’.
So it is a treat, not a saving. Buy it because the countdown is fun and the flavours are varied. If you came looking for cheap energy drinks, a multipack does that job for half the money, and I would say so to a friend.
The Red Bull energy drink, in one can a day
Red Bull built the modern energy drink category after its 1987 launch, and the 250ml can with 32mg of caffeine per 100ml is still the format everything else is measured against. The brand has spent the last decade widening its range from three classics into a run of fruit and seasonal editions, which is exactly what this calendar puts on display.
That is why the box works as a range tour: the Winter Editions and the new Glacier Edition are the sort of limited cans that appear on shelves for a few weeks and vanish, so gathering them behind 24 doors is the point. Fans of the drink get the whole current line-up in one go.
