The packaging shift is just as clear: the suitcase gives way to a drawer box and the palette moves from rose pink to navy blue. The estimated content value holds at around £415 across both years, and full-size formats are more present in 2026. The number of exclusives stays at five.

What convinces first is the pairing of illustrated packaging with genuine exclusives. Five shades you cannot buy elsewhere, in a box built to last, is a fair case for a £205 spend, and long-time collectors will clock the haircare addition and the steadier makeup-to-skincare split. Where it earns its caveat is those small formats: three items at 0.5 g, 1 g and 2 g will not see out 24 days of real use. This is a discovery and collector’s piece first, a month of daily beauty second.
I have not had the 2026 box in hand: the contents come from the brand’s official Japanese release materials and my own read of comparable pricing. The track record is consistent, so my confidence sits one notch below a full in-person test.
