Disney Mystery Pin Advent Calendar

Disney Mystery Pin Advent Calendar 2026: 24 cloisonné pins, a Christmas cookies theme and a retro oven box

The Disney Pin Advent Calendar 2026, sold officially as the Christmas Cookies 24-Day Countdown Limited Edition Mystery Pin Set, hides 24 collectable pins behind an oven-shaped case, one per door from 1 to 24 December. The display is frozen on 20:26. Every pin is styled as a glazed Christmas biscuit, and the whole thing is a limited edition of 5,750 worldwide.

There is no chocolate here, no sweets and no toy: just pins. Twelve of the characters have been shown by Disney Store, the other twelve stay sealed until you lift each door. It sits firmly in collector territory, aimed at adults and Disney pin traders rather than at a child counting down to Christmas.

What’s inside the Disney Mystery Pin Advent Calendar?

Twenty-four pins, and nothing else. Each one is cloisonné PVC on metal with a nickel finish, roughly 4.5 x 4 cm, with a Mickey-head clasp and a ‘Disney Pin Trading 2026’ stamp on the back. Disney Store has revealed 12 of the 24: Santa Mickey with Minnie on a single pin, Goofy, Meeko, Pumbaa, the White Rabbit, Simba, Pascal, the Cheshire Cat, Jiminy Cricket, Dale, Lucky and Figaro, all reworked as iced gingerbread.

The remaining 12 pins are a mystery until the day you open them. Disney does not sell these pins individually and puts no figure on the set, so there is no official content value to quote. Worked back from the price, each pin comes to about £8.33 (£200 across 24 doors), which is the only per-pin benchmark I can stand behind.

The door-by-door breakdown sits in the SPOILER tab.

From a storybook box to an oven: how the 2026 edition moved on

The previous UK outing, in 2024, was the Mickey’s Christmas Carol set. Its case was shaped like a bound book, it was a limited edition of 3,300, and the pins cast the Disney characters as Dickens figures: Scrooge McDuck as Ebenezer Scrooge, Mickey as Bob Cratchit, Goofy as the ghost of Jacob Marley.

Three things change for 2026. The theme swaps the Victorian carol for the kitchen (Christmas cookies), the book case becomes a retro oven, and the run grows from 3,300 to 5,750 pieces. What carries over is the foam display board, shaped like a baking tray this time, to lay the full set out.

My verdict on the Disney Mystery Pin Advent Calendar

The object itself is easy to recommend. The oven case with its 20:26 clock, the gingerbread-glazed pins, the Mickey-head clasps and the tray that turns the calendar into a display case: for anyone who likes to show off and trade Disney pins, there’s a real collector’s pull here, and the 5,750-piece run gives it a scarcity that pin traders care about.

Two conditions weigh heavily at £200. You don’t choose your pins, and half the set is unknown at the point of purchase (12 shown, 12 blind). On top of that, all sales are final on this item: no refund, no exchange, no return.

• What holds people back: paying up front for a box where you can’t pick a single pin and 12 of the 24 are a complete unknown, with no way to send it back.
• What collectors will happily pay for: a limited, display-ready set of official Disney Pin Trading pins with a themed case worth keeping long after December.

Put plainly: a lovely set to display for a Disney pin fan, as long as you accept paying ahead for a box whose other half you won’t see until you open it.

About Disney Pin Trading, and why these pins outlast December

Disney Pin Trading is a long-running collector hobby, and the ‘Disney Pin Trading 2026‘ stamp on the back marks these as part of it. The Mickey-head clasp and metal build are made to be worn, swapped and displayed. A chocolate advent box is gone by Boxing Day; this one leaves you with 24 enamel pins and a tray to show them on, which is why the oven case and display board read as a keepsake for a Disney collector well beyond the countdown.

Disney Mystery Pin Advent Calendar release date and where to buy

The Disney Christmas pin advent calendar is sold by Disney Store, announced for the 2026 season and currently listed as Coming Soon, so it isn’t on sale just yet; a ‘Notify Me’ alert flags you the moment it goes live. The case measures roughly 29 x 47.5 x 7.5 cm, and with all sales final the purchase is a one-way decision.
