The Harry Potter Time Turner Advent Calendar by The Carat Shop packs 24 jewellery pieces and accessories behind its doors, each one under official Warner Bros. licence. The display itself is a gold-tone rotating Time Turner with three light modes, two rings that spin independently, and a working sand timer: it earns its place on a shelf long after December.

21 of the 24 pieces are exclusive to this calendar, unavailable anywhere else. Suited from age 14 upwards, for Harry Potter fans and collectors who want more than a standard chocolate countdown.

AI Summary

  • 24 officially licensed jewellery pieces and accessories, one per door from 1 to 24 December, all under Warner Bros. licence.
  • Gold-tone rotating Time Turner display: two rings that spin independently to 360°, a working golden sand timer, and three light modes that project star shapes onto nearby surfaces.
  • 21 of the 24 pieces are exclusive to this calendar and unavailable in The Carat Shop’s standard range.
  • Fashion jewellery (costume jewellery), not fine jewellery: the price reflects the rotating display and the exclusivity as much as the pieces themselves.
  • Suited from age 14 upwards, for Harry Potter fans and collectors; the display stays as a desk or shelf piece well beyond December.

Harry Potter Time Turner Advent Calendar 2026: 24 jewellery pieces in a rotating, light-up display

The Harry Potter Time Turner Advent Calendar 2026 by The Carat Shop makes the packaging the whole point, a move most jewellery advent calendars never attempt. Behind the 24 doors sits a gold-tone circular display modelled on the Spinning Time Turner, with two concentric rings that rotate independently to 360°, a working sand timer filled with golden sand, and a phrase engraved in the style of the film prop. Switch it on and three light modes project star-shaped patterns across whatever surface it sits on. This one stays on the desk in January, then February, then probably next Christmas too.

The 21 exclusive pieces inside are the other argument for it. The Carat Shop holds the official Warner Bros. licence for Harry Potter jewellery and accessories, and makes these specifically for the box: they never reach the standard range. You are paying partly for the fashion jewellery and partly for the Time Turner display and the exclusivity, and that split is worth being clear about before you buy. Recommended from age 14 upwards, this sits at a premium price point for a licensed jewellery calendar, squarely aimed at fans and collectors of the wizarding world.

The Carat Shop: Britain’s official Harry Potter jewellery maker

The Carat Shop is a British company and the official licensed manufacturer of Harry Potter jewellery and accessories under Warner Bros. Consumer Products. The designs come straight from the films and the books, worked up with the licence in hand. The Time Turner in particular has a long history in their catalogue, from single pendants to rotating charm bracelets; this advent calendar is the most elaborate form that object has taken in their range.

What’s inside the Harry Potter Spinning Time Turner Advent Calendar?

Twenty-four pieces across seven categories, all under official Warner Bros. licence: 7 bracelets, 2 scrunchies, 3 patches, 2 necklaces, 1 pair of earrings, 2 hair accessories and 7 collectibles and decorations (a Hedwig figure, a Buckbeak decoration, keyrings, a Hogwarts crest pin and a bookmark among them). It spans everyday wearables alongside display pieces, with a consistent Hogwarts theme from door 1 to door 24. The full door-by-door breakdown sits in the SPOILER tab.

What the contents are actually worth

The Carat Shop does not publish a cumulative retail value for this calendar, and there is a clear reason: with 21 of the 24 pieces exclusive to the box, there is no comparable price to add up. Any ‘worth over £X’ figure would be invented, so we will leave it out.

The pieces are costume jewellery through and through. At roughly £3.33 per piece (the £79.99 launch price spread across the 24 doors), you are in decent high-street accessories territory, the sort of value a good accessories shop offers. For fans and collectors, the scarcity of these designs is the appeal; for someone who simply wants 24 pieces of jewellery, better-value options exist.

Harry Potter Time Turner vs other Harry Potter advent calendars

The Carat Shop covers the Harry Potter calendar market across several formats. We also review another Harry Potter advent calendar from The Carat Shop, which takes a different approach to the same licence. The Time Turner edition stands apart for one reason: the display becomes a permanent object rather than flat packaging you fold away and forget. Other options are worth comparing in our Harry Potter advent calendars section.

My verdict on the 2026 edition

‘The Time Turner display is the genuine article: it rotates, it lights up, it carries the inscription. That alone sets this calendar apart from anything else in the licensed jewellery category this year. The pieces are fashion jewellery, and I would rather say that plainly than let anyone spend £79.99 expecting fine jewellery. At that price you are buying a collector’s display with 24 licensed pieces inside it, and on those terms the deal is honest.’
Mickael Boulley, founder of adventcalendar.co.uk

What some will find limiting: the pieces are costume jewellery with modest material value, and metallic finishes on fashion jewellery can wear with time.

What fans will happily pay for: a rotating, light-up display that stays out as decor after Christmas, 21 exclusives under official Warner Bros. licence, and a Hogwarts theme that holds from the first door to the last.

Where to buy: use the ‘See on Amazon’ button at the top of the page for the current offer and up-to-date price. The Carat Shop is the licensed maker; the button points to the most competitive listing available when you check.

Questions & Answers

The Carat Shop recommends this calendar from age 14. It is aimed at teenagers and adult Harry Potter fans, and at collectors of the Warner Bros. licence. It is not designed for young children: the jewellery is delicate, some accessories are small, and the graphic references assume you know the wizarding world.
