What the contents are actually worth

The Carat Shop does not publish a cumulative retail value for this calendar, and there is a clear reason: with 21 of the 24 pieces exclusive to the box, there is no comparable price to add up. Any ‘worth over £X’ figure would be invented, so we will leave it out.

The pieces are costume jewellery through and through. My verdict on the 2026 edition

‘The Time Turner display is the genuine article: it rotates, it lights up, it carries the inscription. That alone sets this calendar apart from anything else in the licensed jewellery category this year. The pieces are fashion jewellery, and I would rather say that plainly than let anyone spend £79.99 expecting fine jewellery. At that price you are buying a collector’s display with 24 licensed pieces inside it, and on those terms the deal is honest.’
