John Lewis Fizz Advent Calendar
£145.00
The John Lewis fizz advent calendar goes all sparkling for 2026: 24 x 20cl miniatures, every one a bubbly. Expect 11 proseccos plus sparkling rosés, moscato, spumante, cava and a spritz, with Bottega, Mionetto and Freixenet leading the line-up. The old still reds and whites are gone, so it’s one for prosecco lovers and adult celebrations, less so for anyone who wanted a mix of styles.
John Lewis Fizz Advent Calendar 2026: 24 sparkling miniatures, no still wines this year
The John Lewis Fizz Advent Calendar 2026 lines up 24 x 20cl miniature bottles behind its 24 doors, one a day, and this year every single one is sparkling. The old mix of still reds and whites is gone: the box now reads as an all-bubbles countdown, from Italian prosecco and spumante to cava, moscato and sparkling rosé.
It carries the ‘Fizz The Season’ name and stays a John Lewis exclusive, so you won’t find this exact box anywhere else. At £145 it sits at the premium end of the drinks calendar shelf, pitched squarely at adults who’d rather open a different bubbly each night than nurse one big bottle.
What’s inside the John Lewis fizz advent calendar
Twenty-four little bottles, and nothing but fizz. John Lewis has named 23 of the 24, which is unusually open for a drinks calendar, and the spread leans heavily Italian: 11 proseccos, six sparkling rosés, two moscatos, two spumante, one cava and one organic bianco spritz. A few producers do most of the heavy lifting: Bottega, Mionetto and Freixenet account for a dozen bottles between them, alongside smaller labels like Villa Sandi, Da Luca and Sanleo.
Each miniature holds 20cl, a touch over a large glass, so this is a tasting format, not a bottle to share. Across the 24 doors that works out at 4.8 litres of sparkling wine, the equivalent of roughly six and a half full bottles. It suits allergy-conscious drinkers too: the range is listed as free from nut, gluten, wheat, dairy and soya, though several bottles contain sulphites.

Is the John Lewis fizz calendar worth it on price?
There’s no official contents value from John Lewis, and 20cl sparkling miniatures aren’t sold loose, so any ‘worth over’ figure would be guesswork. What I can do is the honest sum: £145 across 24 doors is about £6 a bottle. For a well-chosen prosecco in a 20cl pour that’s fair, not a bargain, and it’s the convenience and the variety you’re paying for rather than a discount on the wine itself.
The real decision here is breadth. Open 24 different sparkling labels over December and you’ll quickly learn what you like, from a bone-dry Valdobbiadene DOCG to a sweeter moscato. Prosecco fans and anyone who loves a glass of fizz will get the most out of it; if you wanted reds, whites or a spread of styles, this is the wrong box this year.
How the 2026 Fizz calendar compares to last year
The telling change this year is within the Fizz box itself: the 2026 edition drops the 12 still wines that sat alongside the sparkling in the previous release. That older box split 24 miniatures evenly, twelve fizz and twelve still, taking in reds like McGuigan Black Label Shiraz and whites like Orario Pinot Grigio. The new one is all sparkling, and the price has moved with it, up from £120 to £145.

John Lewis Fizz discount code
There’s no discount code on the Fizz calendar at the time of writing. John Lewis rarely runs codes on its own drinks lines, so the price you see is usually the price you pay. Free UK delivery applies on orders over £70, which this box clears on its own.
