About the artist:
Andréa Mongénie is a French painter known for her expressionist and abstract works. Born in 1967 in Marseille, she developed an early interest in art and creativity. After studying applied arts, she devoted herself entirely to oil painting, her preferred medium.
A palette of vivid and contrasting colours and spontaneous and energetic brushwork characterize her artistic style. Her canvases reflect a constant search for balance between form and colour, the abstract and the figurative. Her preferred subjects often include landscapes, still lifes, or scenes of everyday life, which she interprets in a personal and emotional way.
Since the start of her career in the 1990s, Andréa Mongénie has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions in France and abroad. Her works are part of private and public collections in Europe. Recognized for her talent and unique style, she is considered one of the leading figures in contemporary French expressionist painting.
