CAIA Advent Calendar

The CAIA Advent Calendar 2026 is a two-tier vegan-leather case holding 31 full-size products behind 25 numbered doors, every one of them a proper full size, no travel minis. The theme this year is a holiday in the English countryside, and the box opens onto 25 reusable pouches plus a separate Cloud Pouch bag you keep afterwards.

Seventeen of the 31 are makeup, so this is a makeup advent calendar first, with skincare, haircare and body care filling the rest. It sits at the premium, upper-mid end of the market at £265, which puts it alongside the Selfridges and Space NK beauty calendars.

What the contents are really worth

CAIA puts the total value at £768, roughly 2.9 times the £265 price. I haven’t re-priced all 31 items one by one, so I’m reporting it as the brand’s figure. What makes it more believable than most is the thing CAIA leads with: every product is full size. A big value claim usually falls apart once you find half the box is 5ml minis; here there are none to discount, so even a cautious read leaves the contents above the price.

Divide the £265 by the 31 products and each one lands at about £8.55; divide it by the 25 doors and you get £10.60 a door. Both hold whatever you make of the value claim.

✳️ What’s inside the CAIA advent calendar 2026?

Thirty-one products across 25 doors, weighted heavily towards colour: 17 makeup, then 4 skincare, 3 haircare, 3 body and 4 tools and accessories. The signature run is the exclusive Toffee Cloud scent, which shows up on three body products: the body butter, hand cream and a hair and body mist. The most generous single item is the Toffee Cloud Silky Sensation Body Butter at 175ml.

There is no fragrance and no full-size perfume here; the Toffee Cloud pieces are the closest it gets to scent.

✳️ What’s new in the 2026 edition

The headline is the ratio of new to returning: 21 of the 31 products are new this year, including four shade extensions, with 10 returning favourites making up the rest. That’s an unusually high turnover for a beauty calendar, where most boxes recycle the same hero products year on year.

Two other things set this edition apart. The Toffee Cloud scent is exclusive to the calendar, so the body butter, hand cream and mist can’t be bought that way anywhere else. And the packaging drops the throwaway cardboard for 25 reusable numbered pouches plus the Cloud Pouch bag, which is where the case earns its keep after December. With no documented previous CAIA edition to compare against, I’m treating all of this as new for 2026.

✳️ My verdict on the 2026 edition

What convinces me first is the honesty of the format. Full size all the way through is rare at any price, and it’s the single thing that makes the £768 claim land instead of raising an eyebrow. The heavy makeup lean, 17 of 31, means anyone who already lives in CAIA’s shades gets a genuine restock.

Where it gives me pause is the £265 outlay and the makeup skew itself. If you wanted a balanced beauty box with real skincare and haircare depth, four skincare and three haircare pieces is thin next to seventeen makeup items. As I’d put it: ‘you’re paying for a full-size makeup wardrobe with a few extras, not an even split across your bathroom shelf.’ Skincare-led shoppers should look elsewhere.

✳️ CAIA, the Swedish brand

CAIA Cosmetics is a Swedish beauty brand built around colour makeup and a direct-to-shopper model, which is why much of its range is exclusive to its own site. That carries into this box: the Toffee Cloud scent and 21 of the 31 products can’t be found on the high street, they come from CAIA’s own line.

The 2026 calendar is the brand’s shopfront compressed into 25 doors, wrapped in a case built to last past Christmas.

The CAIA Advent Calendar 2026 is a countdown to 25 December, one door a day through the festive run-up. It was in stock when I checked on 25 September 2026 at £265 on the CAIA site, and it also sells in Germany and Sweden.
