Clarins Advent Calendar 2026: 24 skincare and make-up treats, worth over £280
The Clarins Advent Calendar 2026 runs the full 24 days to Christmas Eve with 24 products behind its doors, one a day, split 12 face and skincare, 7 body and hands, 5 make-up. Only 4 come in a full size: the Wonder Volume Mascara XXL, the Hydra-Essentiel [HA²] Moisture Replenishing Lip Balm, the Lip Comfort Oil and the Hydra-Essentiel [HA²] Silky Cream 30ml. Everything else arrives as a travel size or a mini.
This is a premium beauty calendar, priced as a gift, not an impulse buy. It’s aimed at women who already like Clarins and want to work through several ranges, Hydra-Essentiel, the Tonic body line, the Lip Perfectors, before committing to a full bottle of anything.
What’s inside the Clarins calendar
Behind the doors sit 24 individual products, no fillers, no accessories. Face and skincare take the biggest share with 12 items, from the Total Cleansing Oil and the Soothing Toning Lotion to the Total Eye Lift and the Cryo-Flash Cream-Mask. Body and hands account for 7, including the Tonic Body Oil and the Renew-Plus Body Serum, and 5 make-up pieces round it off, two Lip Perfectors, the Lip Comfort Oil, the Lip Balm and the Mascara XXL.
The headline draw for skincare regulars is the Total Eye Lift, one of the range’s most talked-about products, here in a 7ml trial size. The most generous door is the Wonder Volume Mascara XXL in a full 8ml, the single biggest reason the maths holds up.
What the contents are really worth
Clarins puts the retail value at £273. We priced every product on clarins.co.uk, at full size where it exists and pro-rata by millilitre for the minis, and reached £284. So the brand’s number holds, and is slightly bettered, which is rarer than you’d think. Against a £165 ticket that’s roughly £119 of extra product, or about £6.90 a door (£165 across 24). The catch sits in the format: with only 4 full-size items, the value only pays off if you actually use the travel sizes instead of letting them gather dust.
The full door-by-door breakdown sits in the SPOILER tab.
How the 2026 edition compares to last year
Year on year, Clarins has kept the shape steady: 24 products, the same broad face-body-make-up split, and a contents value in the same bracket. What has moved is the price. Last year’s 24-day calendar sat at £155; this one is £165, so £10 more for a comparable box. Not a redesign, then, more a gentle nudge upward. If you bought the previous edition, you’re getting broadly the same experience for a tenner extra.
Our editorial view on the 2026 calendar
What earns its keep here is the honesty of the value. Most beauty brands round their contents figure up and hope you don’t check. Clarins quoted £273 and our own count came to £284, so the number isn’t inflated, it’s slightly conservative. For a £165 calendar, that’s a genuine mark in its favour.
Where it falls down is the format. Only 4 of the 24 products are full size, and the rest are travel or trial sizes. If minis end up unused in a drawer, that £284 on paper never reaches your face. As I put it after years of testing advent calendars: ‘Clarins doesn’t pad the value, but it does bank on you being the sort of person who finishes a 7ml sample’. That’s the honest catch.
- Not for you if you want mostly full-size products, or you don’t already know the Clarins ranges: a lot of this is trial-size discovery.
- Worth it if you love working through skincare textures and want a low-risk way to try the Total Eye Lift, the Cryo-Flash Mask and the Tonic body line before buying full price.
Versions of this calendar
The spirit of Clarins
Clarins has made plant-based skincare in France since 1954, built on the same handful of hero products that still carry the brand: the Total Eye Lift, the Hydra-Essentiel moisturisers, the Lip Comfort Oil and, on the make-up side, the Wonder Volume Mascara XXL. The formulas are developed in France, and the outer sleeve of this calendar is recyclable, in line with the brand’s stated responsible-sourcing commitments.
That hero-product focus is exactly why the calendar format suits Clarins so well: it puts several of those signature ranges in one box, in sizes small enough to test the ones you don’t yet own. The Total Eye Lift you’ve read about, the Cryo-Flash Mask you’ve been curious about, both are in here.
