Lush Advent Calendar 2026: 25 vegan treats in a reusable wicker hamper
The Lush Advent Calendar 2026 is the brand’s flagship festive hamper: a forest-green wicker basket with red leather straps and a red luggage tag, hand-assembled by a B Corp company based in Somerset. Twenty-five vegan products sit across two pull-out trays, and the basket is meant to stay in use long after the last door is opened. Lush sums it up as ‘a hamper is for life, not just for Christmas’.
If you want a bath bomb advent calendar that pairs playful design with genuine ethics, this is the one that goes furthest. Every product, and every scrap of packaging, is vegan and cruelty-free, from the organic cotton liner to the corn-starch Eco-Pops that stand in for polystyrene.
The Lush spirit
Known for fresh, handmade cosmetics, Lush built its name on bold colour, strong scents and a cruelty-free stance. Sustainability runs through the brand, from responsible sourcing to reusable packaging, and this calendar follows the same line: the wicker hamper is the gift that outlasts the gift inside.
What’s inside this Lush cosmetics advent calendar
The 2026 edition packs 25 hand-picked products, of which 10 are gift-exclusive and not sold separately. The mix leans on seven bath bombs and four shower gels, then broadens out with bubble bars, soaps, a candle, a 15ml perfume, a body butter, a body scrub, a dusting powder, a lip scrub and a pair of Fighting Animal Testing socks. Lush releases the hamper for the festive season each year, with deliveries beginning in the autumn.
What the contents are actually worth
Lush has not disclosed a total retail value for the 2026 hamper, so I priced it myself against lush.com: every product sold individually counted at its listed price, the calendar-sized minis counted pro rata by weight. The 15 standard products come to a little over £94, checked line by line. Adding the five gift-exclusives that have a close equivalent in the regular range brings the verifiable total to between £120 and £135.
The true figure sits higher: five exclusives, including the 15ml perfume and the candle, have no comparable product to price against, and I won’t put a number on what can’t be checked. Even so, at £210 you are clearly paying for the wicker hamper and the ten one-offs rather than the sum of the parts. Worth knowing before you commit.

✳️ This 2026 edition compared with last year
The 2026 line-up shifts the balance towards body and fragrance. The standout new arrivals are the gift-exclusive Snowcake and Rose perfume (15ml) and the Once Upon A Time scented candle, joined by a Christmas Eve body butter and a Honey I Washed The Kids body scrub that were not in the previous hamper.
Several past favourites step aside this year, among them Star Of Wonder, Snoozy Butterbear, Ginger Tom, Iced Wine shower gel, Yog Nog body lotion, Ice Carousel bubble bar and Vanillary Oudh perfume. Returning names include Snowdrift, Sticky Dates, Mini Sleepy, the reusable Candy Cane bubble bar, Dream Cream and the FAT socks. Golden Pear is back as a bath bomb, and Merry Christmas Everyone switches from a shower gel to a bath bomb.
✳️ Editorial perspective on the 2026 hamper
Here, the packaging earns its keep. The Somerset wicker basket is well made and stays useful long after December, which few other brands manage; that reuse is a real part of the value.
With 25 varied items, the calendar feels generous, and the spread across bath, shower, body and fragrance keeps every door interesting. Seven of the ten gift-exclusives sit in the extras, so the candle and the 15ml perfume are the pieces that are genuinely hard to find elsewhere.
The honest catch is the outlay. At £210 this is a considered purchase, not an impulse buy, and Lush publishes no total value, which is exactly why I priced the contents myself above. For a committed Lush fan it holds up; for someone new to the brand, the lower-priced 29½ High Street version below is an easier place to start.
- Some will find £210 steep for a bath and body set.
- Others will happily pay for weeks of wellbeing plus a basket they keep for years.
