Lush 29½ High Street Advent Calendar 2026: 25 bath treats in a collectible house box
The Lush 29½ High Street Advent Calendar 2026 is the brand’s bath-focused countdown: 25 bath bombs and bubble bars packed into a collectible red-brick house box, six of them gift-exclusive treats you cannot buy on their own. It is the more accessible of Lush’s two festive calendars, and the one to pick if a long soak is genuinely the point.
Everything inside is a bath product. No candle padding the count, no travel-size body lotion filling a gap. All twenty-five items are vegan and cruelty-free, and Lush is a certified B Corp based in Somerset, right down to the recycled carton and the cornstarch Eco-Pops that replace polystyrene.
The Lush spirit behind the 29½
Known for fresh, handmade cosmetics, Lush built its name on bold colour, strong scents and a firm cruelty-free stance. The 29½ leans into that with its packaging: the box is shaped like a red-brick town house with a blue snow-dusted rooftop, the number ’29½’ on the facade, drawn by the in-house Gift Design team. Open it and the front unfolds to reveal illustrated numbered doors running through to case 25.
It is the kind of box you keep on the mantelpiece rather than flatten into the recycling on 2 December, which is part of what you are paying for.
What’s inside this bath bomb advent calendar
The 2026 line-up is 25 treats: 17 bath bombs and 8 bubble bars, of which 6 are gift-exclusive and made only for this calendar. The mix runs Lush classics like Snow Fairy, Butterball and the Sleepy bubble bar alongside Christmas-shaped bombs such as Dominick The Donkey, The Christmas Penguin and Toby’s Magic Cow.

What the contents are actually worth
Lush publishes no declared value for the 29½, so I priced it myself against lush.com. I could confirm the individual retail price of nine of the standard products, which come to about £48: Sugar Plum Fairy, Snow Fairy, The Christmas Penguin, Reindeer, Magical Santa, Snowman Dreaming, Butterbear, Butterball and the reusable Candy Cane bubble bar.
The other sixteen treats are harder to pin down. The six gift-exclusives carry no individual price by definition, several advent-season fills have no standalone listing, and lush.com blocks systematic price checks. So the £48 is a partial, verified floor only, and I will not invent the rest. A standard Lush bath bomb runs roughly £4 to £6.50, which puts the 25 doors at around £5.40 each at the ticket price. The honest read: you are buying the six exclusives and the collectible box as much as the bombs themselves.
The two Lush advent calendars compared
Lush offers two calendars this year, and they are genuinely different buys. The 29½ is 100% bath: 17 bath bombs, 8 bubble bars, six exclusives, house-shaped box. It is the cheaper of the pair and the right call when bath is the focus.
The Lush Advent Calendar wicker hamper goes wider: 25 products across bath, body and fragrance, ten gift-exclusives, and a reusable Somerset wicker basket in place of a box. It costs more and gives you range plus packaging that lasts beyond December. Both are vegan, cruelty-free and B Corp; it comes down to whether you want bath-only focus or a wider spread.
My take on the Lush 29½ High Street Advent Calendar 2026
This is a focused calendar that knows exactly what it is. The selection is strong, Snow Fairy and the Sleepy bubble bar are perennials for good reason, and the six exclusives plus the display-worthy house box carry the argument for the price. My verdict: 8/10.
The reservation is honest, and it is about value. I could verify only around £48 of confirmed product across the 25 doors, and Lush declares no total, so you take more on trust than with a calendar that publishes a figure. It reads as a Lush enthusiast’s treat rather than a value play, and it is 100% bath, so anyone wanting skincare or fragrance in the mix is better served by the hamper above. If you have bought Lush calendars before, expect a few familiar faces among the classics.
- Some will find it a steep ask for a bath-only calendar whose value is only partly verifiable.
- Others will happily pay for six exclusives, a box worth keeping and a bath treat every day of December.
