Nuxe Advent Calendar 2026: 24 skincare treats inside a giant Huile Prodigieuse bottle

The Nuxe Advent Calendar 2026 keeps the shape that made it recognisable: a giant Huile Prodigieuse bottle, pink glitter ribbon, with 24 doors you open one at a time. Behind each sits a Nuxe treat, formulated and made in France. The mix leans firmly towards the face, with 11 of the 24 products for skincare, then 4 for body and hands, 4 iconic oils, 3 for hair and 2 for lips.

Nine of the 24 come in full size, the rest in travel formats. What’s inside the Nuxe Advent Calendar 2026

Twenty-four treats, no accessories, no make-up. The box is 100% cardboard, with no plastic filler. The tilt towards the face is deliberate: skincare takes 11 of the 24 doors, with the Prodigieuse Boost serum, the Crème Fraîche 3-in-1, three products from the Merveillance Lift anti-ageing line and the Zinc Power purifying duo.

The rest covers body and hands (4 products, including the two 50ml hand creams, Very Rose and Rêve de Miel), hair with the Hair Prodigieux trio (shampoo, conditioner, mask) and honey lip care. Alongside them sit four versions of Huile Prodigieuse: the classic, the Florale, the Or and the Or Florale.

What the contents are really worth

Nuxe puts the total value at £293. I won’t pin a rival figure to it; look at the list instead. With nine full-size products in the box, led by the 50ml Huile Prodigieuse, the value sits in the formats you can actually use up, not in the headline number. What changed for 2026

Nuxe hasn’t torn up the recipe. As in previous years, the calendar takes the form of an oversized Huile Prodigieuse bottle with 24 doors and several full-size products among the surprises. The pillars come back: Huile Prodigieuse, Very Rose, Rêve de Miel, Hair Prodigieux and Merveillance Lift appear from one edition to the next.

What has gone is the tools. Last year’s box held a Body Brush, a 3-in-1 Face Cleansing Brush and a Super Serum [10]; the 2026 edition drops all three in favour of skincare alone. In their place, a heavier lean on the face and anti-ageing: three Merveillance Lift products and the Nuxuriance Ultra Global Anti-Aging Cream. If you were after a calendar with brushes and extras, this one has stripped them out.

My view on the 2026 edition

What I like straight away is the honesty of the format. The giant bottle isn’t just a nice object: it holds nine full-size products, which is rare on a beauty calendar, where the miniature usually rules. The Huile Prodigieuse 50ml alone justifies a good chunk of the price, and the Prodigieuse Boost serum backs it up.

Where it falls down is the balance and the price. Eleven face products out of 24 is a lot for anyone hoping for something broad: fans of the body or hair lines will feel a bit short-changed. This sits firmly in premium territory, not at the entry level. Divide the launch price across the 24 doors and each treat lands at about £4.88, which is fair for full-size French skincare, less so if you only wanted a sampler.

My verdict fits in a line: ‘This is a calendar for loyal Nuxe fans, the sort who already reach for the Huile and want to work through the range.’ Bought to discover the brand from scratch, it’s a heavy first commitment. Bought to restock what you already use, it earns its keep.

The spirit of Nuxe, French skincare turned ritual

Nuxe built its name on a single cult product, Huile Prodigieuse, a dry multi-use oil for face, body and hair whose golden bottle became a bathroom fixture people recognise on sight. The house makes a point of skincare formulated and made in France, built around plant-based actives.

This calendar is the concentrated version of that promise: it fits four versions of Huile Prodigieuse and most of the skincare lines into one giant bottle. From the classic to the Or Florale in a single box, it’s hard to be more faithful to the brand’s DNA.
