The 2026 edition keeps almost nothing of that styling and swaps in the ‘Santa & Yeti’s Bath Brew Co.’ beer gag: teal and brown kraft card, a built-in carry handle on the lid, and a single Cedarwood Spice scent running through every toiletry.

What has not moved is the idea. Same 24 doors, same formula of simple washes plus a handful of clever objects, same accessible price. The dressing is new, the recipe is the one Accentra has run on this box for years.

✳️ My view on the 2026 edition

Call it what it is: this isn’t a grooming calendar, it’s a joke gift, and on those terms it lands. The Yeti-and-Father-Christmas bar scene is daft in the right way, and the two glass mugs and the metal hip flask are the bits that survive past December. Most men will keep those and forget the rest, which is fine, because that is the difference between £25 and a chocolate calendar.

Where it falls down is the grooming itself. As I’d put it: ‘you buy it for the Yeti and the hip flask, not for the shower gel’. The washes, lotions and scrubs are entry-level, often in small formats, all on one scent, so anyone after a genuine skincare routine will be let down. There is no makeup, no fragrance bottle, nothing full-size to anchor the box.

So the honest line is simple. For a laugh it is a cheap, easy gift that raises a smile. As a set of products to actually use through December, it is thin.
