Jo Loves Advent Calendar 2026: a spinning Ferris wheel, 24 fragrance and body treats behind 25 doors

The Jo Loves Advent Calendar 2026 is called ‘A Jo Loves Winter Wonderland’, and the name is literal. The box is built as a Ferris wheel that actually turns, a white and red big wheel rising out of a midnight-blue base, with each of its 25 doors set into the carriages. It is a keepsake first and a countdown second: when December is over, the wheel stays on the shelf. Behind those doors sit 24 products plus a £50 gift voucher, drawn almost entirely from the brand’s own fragrance and bath collections.

This is Jo Malone CBE’s second house, and the calendar reads like a tour of it: 11 fragrances, four candles, nine bath, body and hair pieces, and that voucher tucked behind one door. It sits firmly in luxury territory, up with Guerlain and Chanel, well clear of the high-street beauty boxes. So it suits a committed fragrance and candle lover, not a first dip into the brand.

What is inside the Jo Loves fragrance advent calendar 2026?

Twenty-four products and one voucher, spread across 25 doors. The balance tells you what kind of calendar this is: 11 fragrances (seven Eau de Toilette, four Fragrance Paintbrush), nine bath, body and hair pieces, four 70g votive candles, and a £50 Jo Loves voucher behind one of the doors, redeemable against a full-size scent. There is no makeup and no skincare here; this is fragrance and the rituals around it, start to finish.

On format, be clear-eyed. The seven Eau de Toilette run at 10ml and 15ml and the four Paintbrush scents at 7ml, so the fragrances come in travel and discovery sizes well below the full 50ml bottles. Where the box turns generous is the rest: the four votive candles weigh 70g each, and the bath and body pieces land at 70ml to 75ml, close to everyday size. The most useful single item is arguably the With Love from London duo of body lotion and shower gel, and the Pomelo and Amber Lime & Bergamot signatures run right through the box.

Content value: Jo Loves states ‘worth over £800’. We priced each item on joloves.com and pro-rated the travel sizes, and our own figure comes to about £594, roughly 1.6 times the launch price. That is real value, but it is a good way short of the brand’s number, by around a quarter. Divide the £375 launch price across the 24 products and each one works out at about £15.63, before the voucher claws £50 of it back.

What the contents are actually worth

We ran the numbers instead of repeating the marketing. Working from the single-unit prices on joloves.com, with the 10ml and 15ml scents pro-rated down from their full bottles, our verifiable total comes to roughly £594, and at least £580. Four of the bath and body pieces had no standalone sales page we could price, so they are left out: counting them would only push the figure higher, not lower.

So the honest reading is two numbers side by side. Jo Loves says ‘worth over £800’; our count reaches about £594, which leaves the £800 claim short by roughly 26%. The gap does not make this a bad buy, 1.6x the price is a genuine saving on fragrance, and the £50 voucher hands back real money against a full-size bottle. It does mean the brand’s headline is optimistic, and that the value here rests on the candles and the body duos more than on the small Eau de Toilette vials.

Editorial view on this 2026 edition

What wins first is the object. A Ferris wheel that genuinely spins is a step up from a flat drawer box, and plenty of buyers will keep it long after the last door is open. The contents lean hard into fragrance, which is the point of a Jo Loves calendar, and the four 70g votives plus the body duos give it weight beyond the little scent vials.

Where it stings is the voucher. Last year’s edition came with a £120 gift voucher and a Nails Inc x Jo Loves collaboration polish; this year the voucher drops to £50 and the polish is gone. In their place you get the redesigned spinning wheel, a deeper run of Paintbrush scents, and new haircare, an Amber Lime & Bergamot shampoo and conditioner that the brand had not put in the box before. That is a fair trade for someone who wants fragrance and a keepsake, and a clear step down for anyone who bought last year chiefly for the £120 credit.

My summary after pricing it out: ‘the wheel is lovely and the saving is real, but you are buying the ritual, not a bargain, and the brand’s £800 number flatters it.’ If you love the house and want the candles and the body ranges, it earns its place. If you came for the voucher, £50 is not £120, and that matters.
