Selfridges Advent Calendar 2026: 25 doors, 35 beauty icons, worth over £1,100
The Selfridges Advent Calendar 2026, billed ‘The Big Beauty Haul’, lines up 25 days of luxury beauty from 35 brands behind a glossy yellow box. At £10 a door on paper (£250 ÷ 25), that’s obviously not the real story: the declared worth of the revealed products alone tips past £1,100, putting this firmly at the top end of the UK department-store calendar market.
Beauty lovers who’ve been circling Selfridges’ annual calendar since 2024 will find familiar pillars, Augustinus Bader, Charlotte Tilbury, Jo Malone London, alongside a wave of new arrivals: Gucci, Burberry, Marc Jacobs Beauty, Rodial, Discotheque, Kylie Cosmetics, Sol de Janeiro, Dr. Barbara Sturm. The mix skews heavily towards skincare and complexion, with a genuine fragrance thread woven through.
Content and value
This is a beauty calendar that leads with full-size products. At least ten of the 25 doors open onto a full-sized product, confirmed from the official reveal. The headliner is the Rodial Bee Venom Super Serum 30ml (worth £195 on its own), a full-size format of a serum that rarely makes it into even premium gift sets. Behind door 21 sits the Discotheque Lola At Coat Check Eau de Parfum 50ml at worth £130, a recent cult fragrance that’s genuinely hard to find discounted. Augustinus Bader appears twice: the Rich Cream 15ml (worth £80) and the Hydrogel Face Mask (worth £26).
The breakdown by category covers ground across skincare (111SKIN Eye Mask, Tatcha Skin Mist, Dr. Barbara Sturm Serum, ISIMA Peptide Mask, UKLash Eyebrow Serum), makeup (Gucci Mascara L’Obscur full-size worth £34, Marc Jacobs Eyeshadow worth £24, Charlotte Tilbury Setting Spray, Kylie Lip Glaze, Laneige Lip Serum), fragrance (Jo Malone London 9ml worth £20, PHLUR Cherry Stem 10ml, Burberry Lipstick Mini), hair (Color Wow Shampoo and Conditioner 75ml each, Maria Nila Hair Mist, Beauty Works 10-in-1 Spray full-size worth £13.99), body (Sol de Janeiro Shower Oil 385ml full-size worth £23, Mirror Water Dry Brush worth £22), nails (three Manucurist full-size pieces: Active Shine Polish, Huile Verte Oil, Glass Cuticle Pusher), and a scented candle (Paddywax Tiger Ceramic). Refy, Trinny London, Moonglaze, Wonderskin, Lisa Eldridge, Balmain, Champo and Huda Beauty also appear on the box among the 35 brands, with the exact products unconfirmed at the time of writing.
Divide £250 by 25 doors and you get £10 a door as a floor. The Rodial serum alone covers 78% of that total; that’s not a typical calculation for a beauty calendar, and it’s worth keeping in mind.
The balance is overwhelmingly skin-first. Fragrance lovers won’t find this deep enough on that front: two proper scent pieces (Discotheque and PHLUR) plus a Jo Malone miniature and a Burberry lipstick with fragrance notes isn’t the same as a fragrance calendar. Haircare is genuinely represented, which is less common at this price point.

The Big Beauty Haul 2026 vs last year’s edition
What carried over from 2025: the £250 price point, the department-store curation model, and several anchor brands. Charlotte Tilbury, Jo Malone London, Augustinus Bader, The Ordinary, Color Wow, Morphe and Laneige all return. The Augustinus Bader presence is actually stronger this year, with two products versus one.
What’s new in 2026: Selfridges has brought in Gucci and Burberry for the first time, adding genuine fashion-house weight to the makeup drawers. Marc Jacobs Beauty, Kylie Cosmetics, Rodial, Sol de Janeiro, Dr. Barbara Sturm, Discotheque and Trinny London are all 2026 debuts in this box. The 2025 edition leaned on Fenty Beauty and Gisou; neither appears this year.
The headline shift is the format: 2025 carried 37 products; 2026 has 25 doors. That’s 12 fewer items, but the declared worth of content is comparable (£1,136 in 2025, over £1,100 in 2026). The difference is concentration: 2026 bets on fewer, heavier pieces over sheer volume.
My verdict on the Selfridges Advent Calendar 2026
What convinces first is the sheer weight of the Rodial serum. A single product worth £195 in a £250 box is a statement: Selfridges is betting that one very good thing justifies the whole purchase, the way a department-store concierge would talk you into one excellent coat over three passable ones.
The full-size count is solid. Ten or more products in their proper size across 25 doors is genuinely unusual at this price. The Morphe brush, the Sol de Janeiro shower oil, the Beauty Works spray, the three Manucurist pieces: these are everyday-use items, not miniatures you’d forget by February. Beauty enthusiasts who build a proper December routine will get more out of this than out of a calendar that scatters 37 smaller pieces.
My honest read after several Selfridges editions: ‘this is a proper luxury haul, carried by two or three heavyweight pieces more than by a stack of minis.’ The Rodial serum and the Discotheque parfum are the proof.
Where it falls short is coverage. This is a face, skin and nails calendar with accent notes of hair and fragrance. If your collection is already heavy on Charlotte Tilbury and Augustinus Bader, the returning brands add less than they look. Buyers who already own the pillars are really paying for the newcomers and the Rodial.
- ‘The Big Beauty Haul’ is an accurate name: quantity of quality, with the Rodial serum, Discotheque parfum and Augustinus Bader setting a value floor that few rivals at this price can match.
- At £250 for a worth over £1,100 in content, the ratio is strong; the fair criticism is the narrower coverage versus the 2025 edition’s 37 pieces.
