L’Artisan Parfumeur Advent Calendar
£440.00
The L’Artisan Parfumeur Advent Calendar 2026 packs 24 treasures into a book-shaped collector’s case, 13 of them fragrances: 2 full-size 50ml, Passage d’Enfer and Cuir Grenat, plus 3 body and hand care products, 3 mini candles and 5 leather accessories. A niche fragrance box for adults who’d rather tour a whole house than commit to one bottle, with an estimated £520 of contents. The catch: only two scents come full-size, the other eleven in 10ml and 5ml minis.
L’Artisan Parfumeur Advent Calendar 2026: 24 treasures, 13 of them fragrances
The L’Artisan Parfumeur Advent Calendar 2026 hides its 24 doors inside a book-shaped collector’s case, fuchsia pink with gilded botanical engravings, a box you keep well after December. Behind the doors sit 13 fragrances, 3 body and hand care products, 3 mini candles and 5 leather accessories, so the balance leans firmly towards scent.
Two fragrances stand apart because they arrive full-size in 50ml: Passage d’Enfer and Cuir Grenat, both pillars of the house. The rest come in 10ml and 5ml discovery sizes. This is a niche fragrance calendar for the buyer who wants to roam an entire house, not settle on a single bottle.
The L’Artisan Parfumeur spirit
L’Artisan Parfumeur was founded more than 40 years ago by Jean Laporte, a chemist who composed a banana scent for the Folies Bergère before founding his own house; 2026 marks the brand’s 50th anniversary. Since the start it has worked with natural raw materials and its recognisable apothecary bottle, holding its niche ground as the mass market grew around it.
This calendar reads like that story: a walk through the catalogue, from the woody classics to the newer extraits, inside an object made to be kept. Fragrance fans will use it to tour the house before choosing a full-size bottle.
What’s inside this fragrance calendar
The 24 doors split into four families. Thirteen fragrances make up the heart of the box: 2 full-size 50ml (Passage d’Enfer and Cuir Grenat), 5 in 10ml (Abyssae, Tenebrae, Soleil de Provence, Vétiver Écarlate, Mûre et Musc Extrême) and 6 in 5ml, among them Il Était Un Bois, Ode à l’Oudh, Mémoire de Roses and L’Amant.
Then come 3 body and hand care products in 30ml (L’Ambre shower gel and body lotion, La Rose hand cream), 3 mini candles at 35g each (L’Ambre, L’Encens, La Rose) and 5 leather accessories: flacon pouches, a label, a comb and an unscented ceramic flacon. The non-fragrance items play a supporting role; the scent is the point.
What the contents are really worth
L’Artisan Parfumeur publishes no clean total for the UK box this year, so this is a careful estimate. Priced against the single products on the brand’s own site, pro-rated by millilitre and gram for the minis, the contents land around £520, in line with last year. The leather pieces aren’t sold separately, so that part is the least certain.
Two items carry most of that value: the full-size Cuir Grenat and Passage d’Enfer. Divide the £440 launch price across the 24 doors and each surprise works out at £18.33. The value-for-money case is modest: most of what you pay goes on the object and the two large bottles, the minis trailing behind.

Versions of this Advent Calendar: what changes in 2026
The 2025 edition held 17 fragrances against 13 this year, and it too carried 2 full-size 50ml bottles: Passage d’Enfer and L’Air de Bretagne (Breton Air). For 2026, Passage d’Enfer stays, L’Air de Bretagne drops out and Cuir Grenat comes in as the second full size.
The rest shifts too: body care comes down to 3, and the 2025 indoor accessories give way to 3 mini candles and 5 leather accessories. The price climbs from £415 to £440, a £25 rise, for a box that leans less on minis and more on things you keep.
My verdict on the 2026 edition
What wins me over first is the object itself: the pink book-case is a genuine gift on its own, earning its place on a shelf past January. The two signed full-size bottles give the box a backbone, where so many fragrance calendars offer samples.
Where it falls down is the run of miniatures and the value maths. Eleven of the thirteen scents sit in 5ml or 10ml, and the estimated £520 of contents clears the £440 price by a single step: the real gain is concentrated in Cuir Grenat and Passage d’Enfer. Anyone who doesn’t love those two mostly takes home trial sizes and some handsome leather bits.
My summary fits in one line: ‘you buy a lovely object and two bottles you keep, the rest is a tour of the house’, not a bargain by the millilitre. L’Artisan Parfumeur devotees will be glad of it; value hunters much less so.
- What disappoints: only 2 full-size fragrances out of 13, a modest value-for-money ratio, and a £25 price rise.
- What earns the money: a collector’s case worth keeping, Cuir Grenat and Passage d’Enfer in 50ml, and a full tour of a niche house’s catalogue.
