L’Occitane Luxury Advent Calendar 2026: 24 Provençal treats, one reusable keepsake box

The L’Occitane Luxury Advent Calendar 2026 holds 24 beauty products across body, hand, face and fragrance, all drawn from the brand’s Provençal roster. At £169 for contents our site estimates at around £213 independently (the brand puts the figure at £269), you are paying roughly £7.04 per product: divide the launch price by the 24 doors and that is what each one costs you. The saving is real either way.

This is a calendar for women already loyal to the brand: fans who want to build a proper L’Occitane December ritual from Almond body care through to Immortelle skincare. Those hoping to try perfume in a standard bottle or any make-up will not find it here. The brief is coherent, the execution generous in several places, and the box itself stays useful long after Christmas.

The spirit of L’Occitane

L’Occitane en Provence was founded in 1976 in Manosque, in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence. Its formulas are built around botanical ingredients sourced in southern France: shea butter from Burkina Faso through a fair trade programme, lavender grown near Valensole, sweet almonds pressed locally. The brand sells in over 90 countries today, but its UK advent calendar still opens on those same Provençal fields.

What ties the calendar to the brand is that the line-up maps almost perfectly onto the five families L’Occitane has been known for longest: Almond, Shea, Immortelle, Verbena, Cherry Blossom. No detour into a new trend collection. L’Occitane fans calling this ‘the greatest hits box’ would not be wrong.

What the L’Occitane Luxury 2026 calendar contains

Behind the 24 doors are products split across five families. Body and shower takes the largest share: 8 products, including the full-size Almond Shower Oil at 250 ml, which is the single most generous format in the box. Face care accounts for 3 products, anchored by the Immortelle Divine Cream in an 8 ml format. Hand and foot care brings 5 products, and the Shea Hand Cream at 75 ml is the standout there. Two soaps, two fragrance and ambiance pieces, and one body oil complete the list.

There is no make-up and no standard-size perfume. The Verbena Eau de Toilette is a mini. If you are buying this as an introduction to the brand’s fragrance catalogue, that is worth knowing before you commit.

A few sizes have not been communicated by the brand at the time of writing, notably the Immortelle cleansing foam, the demaquillant oil, the body balm and the pillow mist. We have listed them in the spoiler as confirmed products without a confirmed size.

What the contents are actually worth

Our independent estimate, built from current UK retail prices on uk.loccitane.com and authorised retailers, comes to around £213. The brand declares the calendar worth £269. The gap between those two figures comes mainly from formats where we had to use prorated prices rather than a direct mini listing: the brand may be valuing at full-size equivalents, which is common in this category.

Either way, against a £169 launch price, the saving is between £44 and £100 depending on whose number you trust. We’d put it closer to the lower end, honestly. That still clears the bar for a premium beauty calendar.

✳️ 2026 versus 2025: what changes, what stays

The 2025 edition came in its now-famous mas provençal box shaped like a Provençal farmhouse with a terracotta roof. That box is gone. The 2026 Luxury calendar arrives in a deep-green box with a golden botanical motif, described by the brand as a peacock-feather pattern. Inside, a scene depicting a Provençal Christmas table.

Two structural changes matter. First, L’Occitane has split the offering into two tiers this year: the Classic Edition at £99 and this Luxury Edition at £169. Second, the range leans further into skincare than before, adding Immortelle Divine pieces where the previous edition stacked more body care repeats.

The Almond Shower Oil at 250 ml is back, and that matters: it was the hero product of last year’s edition too, and it is one of the few genuinely full-size items in a calendar at this price point. The Shea Hand Cream in 75 ml also returns. The Verbena and Cherry Blossom families are represented as before.

✳️ My verdict on the L’Occitane Luxury Advent Calendar 2026

What convinces first is the coherence of the selection. Unlike some beauty calendars that pad 24 doors with lip balms and single-use sachets, this one sticks to its family names and delivers recognisable products. The Almond Shower Oil in 250 ml is a proper full-size purchase in its own right: at £24 retail, it represents more than 14% of the calendar’s launch price in a single door.

Fans of the L’Occitane range will find December sorted in one box, a genuine Provençal routine from shower to pillowcase. The reusable box is a nice touch, not just marketing copy: the 2025 farmhouse design has been photographed all over Pinterest as a jewellery box and desk organiser.

Where it falls down is the absence of make-up and the mini perfume. For a calendar at £169, the Verbena Eau de Toilette being a small mini will disappoint anyone who expected a fuller fragrance experience. Several sizes remain unconfirmed at the time of writing, which makes a precise valuation harder than it should be at this price.

My read: ‘The 2026 Luxury edition rewards the loyal customer, not the curious newcomer.’ If you already reach for Shea hand cream and Immortelle serum, the 24 doors feel curated. If you are discovering the brand, the Classic edition at £99 is the more honest starting point.

  • The Almond Shower Oil at 250 ml and the 75 ml Shea Hand Cream are formats worth buying on their own: getting both inside one calendar is the clearest argument for the price.
  • Not one for make-up fans or anyone hoping for a standard-size fragrance: the brief is body and skincare, firmly.
