ESPA Advent Calendar 2026: 25 spa treatments in a drawer-format box
The ESPA Advent Calendar 2026 arrives this year in a completely redesigned box, cream and beige with gold lettering and a grosgrain bow, where the previous edition sat in midnight navy. The format is the same: a drawer-style box with 25 products, of which 9 are full-size. The promise is unchanged too, premium spa skincare from cleansers to serums, body butter to a rose quartz gua sha, with not a single palette or perfume in sight.
Women who are serious about their skincare routine, and want to spend December actually using what they open, will find this luxury advent calendar speaks their language.
What’s inside the ESPA Moments of Wellness Advent Calendar 2026?
Face care accounts for 12 of the 25 products, six of those in full-size. Body care adds 7 more products, three of them at 100 ml each: the Positivity Bath & Shower Gel, Smooth & Firm Body Butter and Exfoliating Body Polish arrive in proper shelf-ready sizes. Hair gets a single entry, the Pink Hair & Scalp Mud at 30 ml. The remaining 5 slots go to wellness accessories: a Rose Quartz Gua Sha, a silk sleep mask, a silk scrunchie, a Winter Spice candle and a Muscle Rescue balm.
The face line-up leads with two of ESPA’s best-sellers. The Optimal Skin Pro-Serum, the brand’s signature treatment, is in at 30 ml, full-size. New this year and just as notable, the Bio-Retinol Sleeping Serum, 30 ml full-size, makes its debut in this format. Alongside them sit the Replenishing Treatment Oil and the Nourishing Lip Treatment, both full-size, plus the Yuzu & Ginger Cleansing Sorbet at 50 ml.
The headline number from ESPA is a content worth of £624. Divide the launch price by the 25 products and you land at £7.60 per product on average. That figure looks modest on paper, but it masks the range inside: six face-care full-sizes alone account for a big share of that £624 total.

How the 2026 ESPA calendar compares to last year’s
The previous edition was priced at £175 and carried a stated worth of £435. This year both numbers move up, to £190 at launch and a restated worth of £624, so the gap between what you pay and what you supposedly get has widened.
The full-size count goes from 7 to 9, a real improvement, and the packaging makes a clean break from navy to cream and gold. The Winter Spice candle grows from 70 g to 80 g.
What leaves is worth naming. The previous edition included a shampoo, a conditioner and a hand cream. This year haircare shrinks to one product, the Pink Hair & Scalp Mud, and hands appear only in passing within the body line-up. The balance has shifted decisively towards face care. If hair or hand treatments were part of your reason for buying last year, that shift changes the calculation. One substitution is confirmed for 2026: the Pomelo Lip Balm replaces the Tri-Active Lift & Firm Eye Cream, which is temporarily unavailable. ESPA states the £624 value holds with this substitution.
My verdict on the ESPA Advent Calendar 2026
The packaging upgrade is genuine. The new cream-and-gold box is calmer and more considered than the navy edition, and the drawer format still works well for daily unwrapping. The jump to 9 full-size products is the headline argument, and it holds up: the Optimal Skin Pro-Serum, Bio-Retinol Sleeping Serum, Replenishing Treatment Oil, Positivity Bath & Shower Gel, Smooth & Firm Body Butter and Exfoliating Body Polish are all products you would happily buy on their own.
Where I would temper the enthusiasm: 12 of the 25 products are face treatments. If you are already invested in ESPA’s skincare range, that concentration is a bonus, December sorted. If you were hoping for breadth across hair, hands and a bit of everything, this calendar will not deliver it. The hair category has gone from three products to one.
At £7.60 per product on average, the case for value holds if you will actually use premium face serums. ‘Moments of Wellness’ is an honest summary: this spa advent calendar is built for a specific kind of ritual. As I would put it after following ESPA’s Christmas releases for several years, ‘the formula here is depth, not breadth, and it works precisely for the person who wants more of what they already love.’
