The Shiseido Premium Advent Calendar 2026 is the house’s first ever premium calendar, a step above the standard Shiseido box, and the two share the same ‘Ginza Wonder’ theme. Behind the 24 doors sit skincare, makeup and fragrance, and 10 of those 24 are full-size, a rare ratio at this level. A Shiseido Holiday Ornament comes on top of the 24, an extra collector piece that is not one of the doors.

At £359, this is a luxury advent calendar for a Shiseido buyer who wants the serious tier of the range. The skincare bias is heavy, led by the prestige Future Solution LX line, so it rewards a skincare devotee over a makeup magpie.

What is inside the Shiseido Premium beauty advent calendar 2026?

Twenty-four products, weighted firmly towards the face. Shiseido has loaded the box with its two flagship skincare lines: Future Solution LX, the brand’s most prestigious range, and the Ultimune serum family, alongside Vital Perfection. The headline full-size pieces are the Future Solution LX Eye & Lip Regenerating Cream in 17ml and the Ultimune Power Infusing Serum in 30ml, two of the most expensive things Shiseido sells at retail.

Makeup earns real space here too, and the tools arrive full-size: the signature Hasu Fude Foundation Brush, an eyelash curler, the ImperialLash mascara, a primer and a microliner. Fragrance arrives through the Zen Eau de Parfum and its body and shower companions, with 2 Shiseido Men pieces alongside. The honest caveat: much of the Future Solution LX haul comes in 15ml travel sizes, so the prestige is real but the quantity is small.

With 10 full-size items including the Eye & Lip Cream and the 30ml Ultimune serum, the contents clear the £359 ticket comfortably at retail. Shiseido has not published a total value for this edition, so I am not inventing one. Divide the launch price by the 24 doors and each works out at roughly £14.96, before the ornament.

Premium against standard: what the extra money buys

Shiseido runs two Ginza Wonder calendars this season, and the gap between them is the whole point. The standard Shiseido Advent Calendar is £185 for 24 products with only around four or five full-size, and it leans almost entirely on skincare.

The Premium, at £359, roughly doubles the full-size count to 10, piles on the ultra-prestige Future Solution LX line, and adds things the cheaper box skips: proper makeup tools (the Hasu Fude brush, the eyelash curler), the Zen fragrance trio, two Shiseido Men pieces, and the collector ornament. This is the first premium edition, so the standard box is the only fair yardstick. What you pay the extra £174 for is prestige skincare and real tools, not simply more sachets.

My view on the Shiseido Premium Advent Calendar 2026

This is the Shiseido calendar for someone who already buys serum by the bottle. What convinces me first is the full-size list: an eye and lip cream and a 30ml Ultimune serum from the top of the range are the products people save up for all year. The Hasu Fude brush and the curler are keepers, not December throwaways.

Where it gives me pause is twofold. The price is steep, and a good share of the Future Solution LX pieces are 15ml travel sizes, so you are paying partly for the name on a small tube. As I would put it, ‘it is a genuine prestige box, but you have to want the skincare, because that is most of what you are buying’. The makeup and fragrance are welcome, yet they are the supporting cast.

It suits the Shiseido loyalist and the serious skincare shopper who would spend on Future Solution LX anyway. It is not for someone after a broad beauty mix or a makeup-led box, who gets better spread from the standard edition at half the price.
