Kiko Advent Calendar 2026: 24 makeup and skincare products in a red two-drawer case
The Kiko Advent Calendar 2026, this year badged ‘Twist ‘N Twinkle Holiday’, packs 24 products behind 24 doors, one for every day of December. The split leans hard on makeup: roughly 15 makeup items, 5 skincare, 3 accessories and a single mini fragrance. Of the 24, 19 come full-size and 5 arrive as minis. The headline names do the heavy lifting, from the 3D Hydra Lipgloss, Kiko’s best-selling gloss, to a 9-shade Glamour Multi Finish Eyeshadow Palette saved for 24 December.
Gone is last year’s black-and-gold ‘Snow-Kissed’ box. This edition ships in a red suitcase-style case with gold detailing, a handle, a snap-buckle and two pull-out drawers, measuring 37.5 x 21.5 x 17.5 cm. It’s built to be kept: once December’s done, it works as a jewellery box or a make-up case. This one is for makeup lovers who like switching textures and shades through the month, less so for anyone shopping mainly for skincare.
What’s inside the Kiko advent calendar, and what it’s worth
The 24 doors break down as 15 makeup, 5 skincare, 3 accessories and 1 mini fragrance. Lips get the most attention: a Sparkling Lipstick, a mini matte lipstick, the 3D Hydra Lipgloss 17, an Unlimited Stylo, a Glitter Glide lip balm and the two-step Unlimited Double Touch. Eyes are next, with the Maxi Mod Mascara, an Extra Sculpt Volume Mascara, an eyeliner, a kajal and the 9-shade palette on the final day. Skincare is thinner: an under-eye patch set, a nail scrub, a mini Hydra Pro Glow cream, a mini Lip Volume plumping cream and a Glitter Glide lip balm.
Kiko puts the contents at £266.76, which against the £149 ticket works out at a bit over 1.7 times the price. We haven’t re-priced all 24 items in pounds ourselves this year, so treat that figure as the brand’s own number rather than ours. What we can say plainly: 19 of the 24 are full-size, and that’s what carries the value here. The 3D Hydra Lipgloss alone sells for around £14, and there are a dozen more sold at full size behind those doors. Split the £149 across 24 doors and each one lands at £6.21, a fair rate for a box this makeup-heavy.
The door-by-door breakdown sits in the SPOILER tab.
Twist ‘N Twinkle vs last year’s Snow-Kissed edition
The 2025 calendar was the ‘Snow-Kissed Holiday’ box, black and gold with a winter theme. This year Kiko has changed both the case and the mood: a red-and-gold box with two drawers instead of one compartment, a warmer ‘twist and twinkle’ look built around metallics and glitter finishes, in place of last year’s snow theme. The count holds at 24 doors, and the recipe is familiar, a stack of Kiko’s permanent bestsellers alongside a run of products from the seasonal Twist ‘N Twinkle collection.
What’s genuinely new for buyers who had the 2025 box: the case itself is more useful this time, with two drawers and a proper handle, so it earns its keep as storage well past Christmas. The trade-off is the same as ever with Kiko, five of the 24 are minis, including the fragrance and two of the skincare pieces, where a full size would have been the nicer surprise.
My verdict on the Kiko Advent Calendar 2026
What wins me over is the sheer amount of usable makeup. This isn’t a box of trinkets you open once and forget. Fifteen or so makeup pieces you’ll actually finish: lipsticks, a gloss half the internet already owns, two mascaras, an eyeshadow stick and a nine-shade palette to close on Christmas Eve. For anyone who likes trying textures, that’s a proper month of playing about.
Where it wobbles is the five minis. The mini Scent of Milan fragrance and the mini Hydra Pro Glow cream are the two I’d have wanted at full size, and three of the doors are accessories, a mirror-and-comb, a jewel hair tie and a slanted blending brush, pleasant enough but not the reason you buy this. None of that sinks it, because the 19 full-size products hold the value on their own.
Here’s how I’d put it: ‘a makeup calendar first, a skincare one a distant second, and the red-and-gold case is a genuine keeper.’ Buy it for the lip and eye haul and the box, not for a skincare routine. At £6.21 a door across 24 doors, with a discount code live on top, the maths stacks up for the right shopper.
- Not one for skincare-led shoppers: 5 skincare pieces out of 24, two of them minis.
- Strong pick for makeup fans who want variety: 15 makeup items, 19 full-size products, a 9-shade palette on the last day.

Kiko Milano, the Italian brand built on affordable colour
Kiko Milano started in Bergamo in 1997 and made its name doing one thing well: bringing Italian makeup to a high-street price. Lips and eyes are its home ground, which is exactly why the 3D Hydra Lipgloss and the Maxi Mod Mascara turn up in its calendar and a rack of face creams doesn’t.
That accessible-colour DNA runs right through this box. Where a luxury calendar sells you a fragrance and a serum, Kiko sells you a drawer full of shades to try, at a price that keeps it a mid-market gift rather than a £200 splurge.
