How the 2026 edition compares with last year

The structure has not moved: still a 12-piece, 12-door skincare and lip box, still a mix of full size and travel formats. Last year’s edition launched at £114 for a stated value of around £174; the 2026 box sits at £128 for a value over £200, so both the price and the declared value have risen, with the value climbing further.

The line-up is genuinely different this year. The Glaze Craze Tinted Lip Serum and the Juicepop Box Lip Tint are new to the box, and the Bouncy & Firm line gets more room with its Serum and Eye Sleeping Mask. The Cream Skin toner that featured last year has dropped out. If you bought the previous one, the Water Sleeping Mask and Lip Sleeping Mask carry over, but the Glaze Craze serums, the Juicepop tint and the Bouncy & Firm additions are new ground.

My view on the Laneige Advent Calendar 2026

What works here is the weight of the full sizes. Five full-size products out of twelve is a decent ratio for the price, and the full sizes are the ones that matter, a proper 80ml cleanser and a 60ml night mask, not a token 50ml bottle surrounded by sachets. For a skincare advent calendar, that is more generous than most.

Where it falls down is range. This box is hydration and lips: no fragrance, no makeup, no exfoliant or active treatment beyond the peptides and hyaluronic acid. As I put it, Laneige has built this box as ‘a routine, not a sampler’, which is a strength if you already like the brand and a limitation if you wanted variety. Anyone hoping to road-test a bit of everything will find this one narrow.
