Dyson Advent Calendar 2026: 12 drawers, the Supersonic Travel behind the last one, and a two-day countdown

The Dyson Advent Calendar 2026 is the brand’s first ever advent calendar, and its first beauty countdown. Behind 12 drawers sits a haircare edit built around one headline piece: the Dyson Supersonic Travel hair dryer in Ceramic Pink and Rose Gold, waiting behind the last drawer, opened on 24 December. The box is pastel pink with gold detailing and a handle on top, a limited-edition run made to be handed over as a gift.

Read the drawer count again before you buy: 12, not 24. You open one every second day, from 2 December to the 24th, so no daily morning ritual. If that ritual is half the point for you, that’s the thing to know first.

What’s inside the Dyson Advent Calendar 2026?

Nine named products are spread across the twelve drawers, from Dyson’s Chitosan and Omega haircare lines, with styling tools and accessories. There’s one full-size skincare piece, the Post-Style Serum, plus the full-size tools (brush, comb, clips), the dryer and the storage bag, then two travel sprays and two small Pre-Style Cream samples, so the sizing varies drawer to drawer.

The centrepiece is the Supersonic Travel dryer, which Dyson says is 32% smaller and 25% lighter than the standard Supersonic, with universal 100 to 240V voltage and intelligent heat control across a 1000 to 1220W range. Around it: a Paddle Brush, a Detangling Comb, four Hair Clips, the Chitosan and Omega sprays, the Post-Style Serum, and a storage bag sized for the Supersonic and Airwrap.

One honest flag. Two of the samples are Chitosan Pre-Style Cream for straight to wavy hair, not for curly or coily types. That isn’t a footnote, it’s the direction of the whole edit, and very textured hair will get less out of it.

Dyson’s first calendar: no predecessor to check it against

There is no previous edition to compare this to. This is Dyson’s first advent calendar, so no last-year price to hold it against and no track record of what’s in the box.

That changes how I’d judge it. With a Boots or Lookfantastic calendar you can say ‘this is £20 more than last year’. Here there’s nothing behind it, so the sensible posture is more cautious: take the contents at face value, lean on the one piece whose UK price is public, and hold off on any grand verdict until a second edition gives it context. A tool-led calendar built around a single appliance is a different proposition from a 24-day sampler, and wants judging on those terms.

What the contents are worth

A calendar whose priciest item is an appliance lives or dies on that appliance. The Supersonic Travel sells on its own for £249.99 in the UK, listed at that price by John Lewis, Boots and Dyson directly. Everything else, the brushes, clips, comb, sprays, serum and storage bag, sits well below it, so the dryer does most of the heavy lifting on value.

Dyson hasn’t published an official UK price or a ‘worth over’ figure, so the numbers here are our own estimates: we put the calendar at around £350 and the contents, bought piece by piece, at roughly £475. Treat both as ballpark figures until Dyson confirms them, not quoted prices.

Plainly: the maths only works if you wanted the Supersonic Travel anyway. If you did, the extras come at a discount to buying them piecemeal. If you didn’t, you’re paying appliance money for a countdown, and the styling samples won’t close that gap. My honest read: a lovely gift box for a Dyson fan, and a poor way to buy your first hair tool. Check the current price at Dyson first: that’s the number the whole equation turns on.

Dyson Beauty puts the Supersonic centre stage

Dyson made its name on engineering that shows its working, first vacuums, then a haircare range that treated a dryer as engineering. This is the first time that engineering-led approach lands in an advent calendar.

It reads as a Dyson calendar first and a beauty one second: the Supersonic Travel is the reason the box exists, and the Chitosan and Omega products support the tool. Dyson is selling it as a gift object, pink box and handle and all, which fits a first outing built to be given.
