P.Louise Advent Calendar 2026: a lit-up carousel, 25 full-size products, and a content list that’s still under wraps
The P.Louise Advent Calendar 2026 is called ‘What Glows Around’. The design is a light-up carousel, pink and gold, with horses, a gilded crown and the ‘PL’ monogram picked out in baroque detail. It spins. It glows. It is, without question, a statement piece before you’ve even opened the first door. Behind those doors: 25 full-size products, all either new formulations, new flavours or launches that haven’t existed before. At £250, it’s the most expensive P.Louise calendar yet.
The honest caveat up front: P.Louise haven’t announced what those 25 products actually are. No list, no teasers at the time of writing. What we know about the content comes from the brand’s track record, and I’ve kept my level of certainty accordingly measured. The verdict and the value estimate below are based on last year’s performance, not on confirmed 2026 numbers.
✳️ What Glows Around vs last year
In 2025, the ‘Cruising Home For Christmas’ calendar put its 25 products inside a set of illuminated vehicles, a train and trucks, with a declared content value of over £700. The format worked: full-size throughout, no miniatures, heavy on exclusive shades and formulations that you couldn’t find separately. That edition sold out.
For 2026, the vehicles are gone. The carousel takes over: same pink-and-gold palette, different silhouette. The core promise holds, 25 products, full-size, largely or entirely exclusive to the calendar. What’s changed is the aesthetic and, for now, the content list, which P.Louise haven’t published. Whether the value clears the 2025 benchmark is genuinely unknown at this point.
What stays constant: the loyalty gift (a separate parcel worth £50, for customers who’ve previously bought a large P.Louise calendar), the instalment plan via Partial.ly, and the limited-run model that makes waiting a real risk.
✳️ My view on the P.Louise Advent Calendar 2026
The 2025 edition showed what P.Louise are capable of when the emphasis is on genuinely full-size, genuinely exclusive product. No padding with accessories you’ll never use, no travel minis pretending to be gifts. That’s a real point of difference at this end of the market, and at £250 it needs to be.
What gives me pause this year is exactly what gives any serious buyer pause: the content is secret. The carousel design is striking, but a £250 calendar lives or dies by what’s inside it. If 2026 matches 2025 on value, you’re looking at a ratio that makes the price defensible. If it falls short, the design won’t compensate.
The instalment plan is genuinely useful. Ten per cent down now, the rest by 2 November, no interest, no late fees. For a £250 purchase, that’s a sensible option.
- The carousel doesn’t come with batteries included (AA and AAA required), which is a minor but real inconvenience on launch day.
- For anyone who loved the vehicle aesthetic of 2025, the switch to a carousel is a real change of direction, not just a refresh.
- The content list being secret at time of writing is the single biggest reason to hold off, if you’re the type who needs to know what’s inside before committing £250.
- For P.Louise loyalists who buy on brand trust: the combination of 25 full-size exclusives, the £50 loyalty gift and a spread payment option makes this one of the more considered propositions in the beauty calendar market this season.
