The Rituals Premium Advent Calendar 2026 is ‘The Rituals Express’, a rigid card locomotive in green with four carriages, and behind its 24 numbered doors sit 24 products across four families: body care, home fragrance, haircare and wellbeing. No make-up, no nail colour, no filler accessories. At £149 it is the top tier of the 2026 Rituals range, roughly £6.21 a door, and the question is whether 24 genuine products earn that premium over the lighter Deluxe (£137.90) and Classic (£103).
The spirit of Rituals
Rituals was founded in Amsterdam in 2000 around a single idea: everyday rituals, slowed down, borrowed from Eastern philosophies and turned into body care, home fragrance and wellbeing. In the UK it is the Sakura and Jing lines and the Home Perfumes that built the following. That home fragrance strength is what sets a Rituals advent calendar apart from a body-lotion-heavy beauty advent calendar: the Private Collection candles here, Mystic Cedar and Velvet Oudh, are the ones that retail at a real premium, so their presence matters.
What’s inside the Rituals Premium Advent Calendar 2026
Twenty-four doors, 24 products, no make-up at all. Body and bath care fills the bulk, around 14 doors; home fragrance takes six (four mini candles, a Sakura Home Perfume and Gratitude fragrance sticks); haircare gets two, a scalp shampoo and conditioner; the last two are an Eau de Parfum and the Royal Tea Car Wipes. This is a discovery calendar, not a winter supply: you try six collections properly and sample a dozen more. Door 24, the Gratitude Fragrance Sticks 50 ml, is the one that genuinely lasts, four to six weeks of scent.
The Rituals Express 2026 compared with the previous edition
The train itself is unchanged: same rigid card build, same green locomotive, same numbered doors. The one difference we can verify is the full-size count. The 2025 edition held seven full-size products; the 2026 box holds six, one fewer at retail weight. Beyond that we won’t claim a side-by-side: our 2025 composition data isn’t complete enough to be fair. What stays constant is the structure: four families, no make-up, and the home fragrance element that lifts this above a standard luxury advent calendar.
My verdict on the Rituals Premium Advent Calendar 2026
This is a well-composed advent calendar for women, and for anyone who uses body care and home fragrance daily. The range coverage is genuinely good: six Rituals lines, four families, and a fragrance selection that goes beyond token tea lights. The Glow Balm and the Fragrance Sticks are what justify the box over buying items singly.
The real limit is the 18 miniatures out of 24. At £149 that is premium pricing for a box where three-quarters of the contents are travel sizes. Rituals states a content value well above the ticket, and cross-referencing the identical European edition’s published contents puts it at over £190 of product at current exchange, so the claim is not inflated; even so, confirmed value and enough product to last are two different things. The Royal Tea Car Wipes at door 14 are the one oddity in a beauty box.
