Twelve pieces, all face skincare apart from the candle. The split is 7 facial-skincare products, 3 masks, 1 cleanser and 1 scented candle. There is no fragrance and no make-up at all, which is the single biggest change from the 2025 edition.

The one full-size piece is the Prime Renewing Pack 50ml, the house’s cult anti-wrinkle, anti-stress mask, in its real retail size, not a sample. Four products come from L’Elixir des Glaciers: Votre Visage, Vos Yeux, the Sérum Précieux and the Crème de Masque Majestueuse. The other eleven pieces are discovery and travel formats of 5 to 50ml.

Valmont doesn’t publish an official contents value for this box, and the brand’s own page prices it in Swiss francs, not pounds, so treat any single figure with care. Fuchsia Odyssey 2026 versus Blue Odyssey 2025: half the doors, a tighter box

Last year’s ‘Blue Odyssey’ was a very different animal: 25 doors, far bigger, and it carried six fragrances on top of the skincare. A collector’s object, priced like one.

The 2026 ‘Fuchsia Odyssey’ does the opposite. It drops to 12 doors, the fragrances and the make-up both disappear, and Valmont folds the box entirely onto face skincare, with one candle added. Smaller, yes, but more focused and better value for money: the money now goes on the Elixir des Glaciers line instead of spreading across categories.

My verdict on the Valmont Advent Calendar 2026

What wins me over first is the honesty of the contents. Twelve skincare pieces, not one filler, and the Prime Renewing Pack arrives at its full 50ml size, the real cult product, not a sachet. The four L’Elixir des Glaciers pieces are what actually build the value, because that’s where Valmont’s prices climb into the hundreds a jar.

Where it gives me pause is the entry price. At £449 this is a connoisseur’s gift, not a first step into beauty. The other thing to know going in: 11 of the 12 pieces are discovery or travel sizes, normal at this level of skincare, but worth having straight before you buy.

After following Valmont’s calendars for a few seasons, my take comes down to one line: ‘This box doesn’t sell you volume, it sells you a way into a skincare range you’d never buy at full price, and on that score it delivers.’ Not one for anyone after fragrance or make-up, and not a starter calendar. For someone already fond of Valmont, or curious about its sharpest treatments, it holds up.
