What is inside the Korean Skincare Advent Calendar 2026?
Twenty-seven flacons, every one at its retail full size, plus a surprise. The split by use tells you where the money went:

- 5 toners and essences, plus 5 creams and masks including one eye cream

Count the face care (serums, essences, creams, cleansers) and you reach roughly 19 of the 27. Body, hair and lips share the leftovers. The signature pieces are the big cleansing oils: the K-Secret SEOUL 1988 Cleansing Oil at 200ml is one of the most generous formats in the box.
What the contents are actually worth
Korean Skincare puts the retail value at over £460 against a £175.95 price. We priced the range on the brands’ own sites, and with everything shipping full-size, the real figure lands comfortably above that claim, somewhere near two and a half to three times what you pay. The two Advent exclusives can’t be bought separately, so no honest total pins them to the pound. Divide the price by the 27 named products and each one works out at about £6.52.

✳️ The Tidal Glow next to last year’s Sylvan Glow
Last year’s Sylvan Glow edition ran a forest theme and 31 products, 26 full-size and 5 minis, for a claimed £485. The Tidal Glow drops to 27 references but makes them all full-size, and adds an exclusive mystery gift the 2025 box didn’t have. Fewer items, more generosity per bottle: that’s the trade this year.
The brand line-up moved too. Beauty of Joseon, Purito and Dr.Ceuracle stay on; Medicube, Klavuu, Melixir, K-Secret and Black Rouge come in. The price nudges up £5 to £175.95, which for a shift from part-mini to all full-size is easy to forgive.

What convinces me first is the honesty of the format. Every product is full-size, so there’s no 5ml decoy tucked between the real bottles, which is exactly where these K-beauty boxes usually cut corners. The brand roster is sharp rather than safe, and the one Black Rouge tint breaks up the all-skincare monotony without pretending to be a make-up calendar.
Where it gives me pause is the balance. Nineteen of the 27 are face care; body, hair and lips get a single item each, and there’s exactly one make-up piece. And this is a premium spend, not a stocking filler: as I’d say to a friend, ‘buy it if you want the full Korean routine, skip it if you were after a bit of everything’.
