That would be unusual at this end of the market, where travel sizes are the norm, though we could not confirm the exact formats on Notino’s own page. The flip side is honesty about tone: this reads as a practical, use-it-up haul of razors, serums and shower gel, not a parade of luxury treats.

Notino puts the total content value at over £160 (a figure the retailer announces, not one we have priced ourselves), against a launch price of £121. Divide that launch price across the 24 doors and each product lands at roughly £5, which is cheap for a named-contents beauty box.

The 2026 edition vs last year

Notino has kept the shape of this calendar steady. The 2025 edition also held 24 products across the same families, with an announced value of £156. For 2026 the count is unchanged and the headline value nudges up to over £160, so the move is a small value bump rather than a reinvention: same door count, same everyday-beauty remit, a slightly fuller claim on the label.

The practical takeaway is that the launch price does the talking. If you liked last year’s box, this is more of the same with a marginally higher stated worth, and the real swing from one year to the next is the promotional price Notino runs it at.

My view on the Notino Advent Calendar 2026

What wins me over is the transparency. Most beauty calendars ask you to pay for a sealed box and trust the brand; on the listings we could see, Notino names its contents, so you would know whether you actually want a Max Factor mascara, an Olay vitamin C serum and a Gillette razor before you buy. That, plus a handful of reported full-size bottles, would be rare at this price, with the caveat that we could not verify the list on Notino’s own page.

Where it falls down is the character of the haul. As one honest read of the contents put it, this is ‘a practical, everyday box, with little that feels like a treat’. You get a good mascara, serums, scalp and hair oils and generous shower care, but not much that feels indulgent, and the single fragrance and thin make-up line mean it is not one for scent or colour lovers. The over-£160 value is also the retailer’s own count, so take it as a signpost, not gospel.

My honest summary: ‘you are buying a well-filled bathroom restock with the lights on, not a box of surprises’. For a practical shopper that is a strength; for anyone chasing the thrill of the reveal, it is the whole problem.
