Westwing Advent Calendar 2026: 24 doors of Scandi homeware, tableware and, new this year, scent
The Westwing Advent Calendar 2026 is a metre-tall box in deep bordeaux and white, 43 x 67 x 66 cm, with a Parisian townhouse drawn in white line across the front. Behind its 24 doors sit homeware and Christmas tableware pieces built around 12 headline brands: Westwing Collection, Aesop, Bloomingville, Audo Copenhagen, Ferm Living, DBKD, Philippi, Vinga, Vondels, WMF, Archivist and Broste Copenhagen, plus a couple of minor unbranded pieces. This year the full line-up is out, so you judge the whole cast rather than take eighteen sealed doors on trust.
It is a luxury advent calendar for adults who already furnish with Scandinavian and Danish names and lay a considered Christmas table. No chocolate, no beauty samples: every door holds a full object you keep, from candles and glassware to salt mills and a butter board. Not a stocking filler, and not one for children.
What is inside the Westwing homeware advent calendar 2026?
Twenty-four full pieces, weighted firmly towards the table and the mantelpiece. By my count of the door list, 7 doors are tableware (four glasses, two Vondels mugs, a Ferm Living butter board, a WMF knife, four napkins and the two Audo Copenhagen mills), 15 are décor, lighting and textile, 1 is a game and 1 is beauty. The signature door is the Audo Copenhagen ‘Bottle Grinder’ salt and pepper mills by Norm Architects; the most generous single door is the white and beige throw from Westwing Collection.
The one genuine outsider is Aesop hand wash, the only bathroom product in an otherwise décor-and-tableware box, and the range’s first-ever beauty door. What the contents are worth
Westwing puts the announced value at over £700. I’ve not re-priced the 24 pieces line by line, so I’m repeating the brand’s number, not confirming it. The tempering fact is the own-label share: 8 of the 24 doors are Westwing Collection’s own line rather than an outside designer name, so the outside houses account for two thirds of the doors and the value rides on how you rate the house label against the likes of Ferm Living and Broste.
What changed since last year
The clear shift is Aesop, in for the first time and bringing skincare and scent into a box that was pure décor and tableware until now. In with it come Bloomingville, Audo Copenhagen, Vondels, WMF and Archivist. Out go Georg Jensen, Edzard, Kähler, Meraki and Kera Till, so the losses include the previous edition’s most prestigious name in Georg Jensen.
Holding steady across editions: Westwing Collection, Ferm Living, DBKD, Philippi, Vinga of Sweden and Broste Copenhagen. Last year leaned on Broste tapered candles, a DBKD Walnut bowl and an Edzard wine cooler; this year swaps the cooler for the Bottle Grinder mills and a fringed Tirol wool throw for two plainer Westwing ones. It reads as a quieter, more tableware-led edit than the previous box.
My verdict on the Westwing Advent Calendar 2026
Now that all 24 are known, the leap of faith is far smaller than the earlier reveal, when only six doors were public and eighteen sealed. What convinces first is that nothing is a sample: the Bottle Grinder mills, the throw and the four glasses are things you would keep and use well past December. The Aesop hand wash is the one flourish that lifts it above a straight homeware haul, and it’s a natural fit for someone already furnishing in this Scandi register.
Where it wobbles is the mix. A full third of the box is Westwing Collection’s own label rather than 12 distinct designer houses, and once you open a single door the whole thing is yours, because returns only apply to a full, unopened box. So my line on it: ‘a beautiful box for people who already trust the names in it, and an easier yes than the teaser edition now the whole cast is on the table.’

The Westwing spirit
