The Yankee Candle Tree Advent Calendar 2026 comes back as a Collector’s Edition on a limited worldwide run, topped with a gold star engraved 2026. You open one door a day, stack the boxes, and the tree builds itself into a desktop centrepiece by Christmas Eve. Behind its 24 doors sit 25 pieces: 21 candles and 4 accessories.

Last year’s Tree ran on 3 Small Jar candles, 10 votives, 7 tealights and 4 accessories (wick trimmer, snuffer, votive holder, tealight holder), for 24 items. The 2026 shape shifts: a fourth Signature small jar arrives, votives drop to 8, tealights rise to 9, and two real novelties land.

The first is the exclusive 2026 collector bauble, an object you keep long after the candles are gone. The second is a single glass tea light holder in place of the old holder duo. My verdict on the 2026 Collector’s Edition

What wins me over is the object. The tree genuinely builds as you go, it earns a spot on a mantel or a console through December, and the exclusive bauble gives it a reason to exist beyond a bag of tealights. Yankee regulars will meet their winter scents without any guesswork.

Where I hold back is the candle content taken on its own. The per-unit worth of the mini votives is low, and one votive runs about fifteen hours, enough for a few evenings rather than the whole of winter. At £4.00 a piece, you are buying a premium unboxing and a keepsake first, not a stockpile of wax.

My summary fits in one line: ‘it’s a gift, not a saving’. If you love the idea of the tree that grows and the bauble you keep, it earns its place; if you want candle volume and long burns, the plainer Yankee formats serve you better.
