Yankee Candle Advent Calendar
£29.76
The Yankee Candle advent calendar for 2026, the 24 Days of Fragrance, hides 24 scented tea lights behind 24 doors, a different scent every day and none repeated, plus a clear glass holder, so 25 pieces in all. Scents run from Christmas Cookie and Sparkling Cinnamon to everyday Clean Cotton, with each tea light at 9.8g and a 4 to 6 hour burn. There is no accessory and no full-size candle, so it is a way to try the range a scent at a time: one for adults who like changing a room’s mood night by night and want to taste the range on a budget.
Yankee Candle 24 Days of Fragrance 2026: 24 different tea lights and a glass holder
The Yankee Candle 24 Days of Fragrance 2026 puts a different scent behind every one of its 24 doors. That is the whole idea, and it sets this one apart from most candle calendars: no fragrance is repeated. You get 24 scented tea lights, one a day, plus a clear glass tea light holder to burn them in, so 25 pieces in all. Each tea light weighs 9.8g and burns for roughly 4 to 6 hours.
It is a sampler, not a candle stash. For anyone who likes changing the mood of a room night by night, from Christmas Cookie one evening to Clean Cotton the next, that daily switch is the appeal. Treat it as budget-friendly Yankee for people who want to try the range before buying a full jar they may not love.
What is inside the Yankee Candle tea light advent calendar?
Behind the 24 doors sit 24 scented tea lights and nothing else per door, then the clear glass holder as the 25th piece. The scents split roughly into three moods: Christmas ones (Christmas Cookie, Christmas Eve, Sparkling Cinnamon, Shimmering Christmas Tree), sweet and gourmand (Vanilla Crème Brûlée, Sugared Cinnamon Apple, White Strawberry Bellini), and fresh or woody everyday scents (Clean Cotton, Bayside Cedar, White Spruce & Grapefruit) that still work in January. Breadth is the whole promise here.
On value, the honest read is simple: the glass holder carries most of it. Tea lights are Yankee’s cheapest format, and 9.8g of wax gives you one scented evening, no more. Spread the price across the 24 doors and each works out at about £1.24, fair for what a tea light is against a £34.99 RRP. There is no accessory, no décor piece and no full-size candle hiding in here.

24 Days of Fragrance or the Fragrance Lover’s Book: which Yankee to pick
Yankee runs two main calendars this year and they answer different wants. This one, 24 Days of Fragrance at an RRP of £34.99, is built on breadth: 24 scents, all different, in small tea lights. The Fragrance Lover’s Book at £59.99 swaps breadth for size, with 24 votive candles but only 12 scents, each repeated twice, and votives that burn 7 to 10 hours, against the 4 to 6 you get here.
So the choice is honest and clear. Pick this calendar for the daily variety and the lower outlay. Pick the Book for bigger candles, fewer repeats to the nose, and an object that looks more like a gift on the shelf. Neither is better, they just buy different things.
My view on the Yankee Candle 24 Days of Fragrance 2026
The promise is honest and it holds: 24 scents, 24 different, the cheapest way to taste this much of Yankee’s range in one December. If you have ever hesitated over a £20 jar not knowing whether you’d like it, a month of tea lights is a sensible test drive, and the glass holder is the keeper once the wax is gone.
What bothers me is how little candle you actually get. At 9.8g and 4 to 6 hours each, a tea light scents the air near it for an evening and then it is finished. A single burn won’t carry a whole room, and once it’s out that scent is gone for the month. As I’d put it, ‘this is a scent tasting menu with a glass holder thrown in, not a box of candles to stock up on’. Rank it on breadth and it earns its £1.24 a door; rank it on how long each scent lasts and it feels slight.
- Not for you if you want candles that fill and hold a room, or a décor piece to keep on display
- Worth it if you want to meet two dozen Yankee scents cheaply and change the mood every evening of December

Yankee Candle, a candle company that started with melted crayons
Yankee Candle began in South Hadley, Massachusetts, in 1969, when a teenage Mike Kittredge melted childhood crayons to make his mother a Christmas candle, then sold the next one to a neighbour. The company it grew into stayed true to that start: affordable scented candles made for everyday rooms, not luxury perfumery.
That history is exactly why the tea-light format suits the brand. Yankee has always been about trying a scent without a big commitment, and a calendar of 24 small ones is the most literal version of that idea it has ever put in a box.
